I knew at a young age I was attracted to women but I grew up in a home that that strictly forbiddin. I did not act on my attractions to women my entire adolescent life and attempted to do the traditional life. I would find my wife at the age of 25 and within a week I was madly in love with her. She also struggled with her identity in Christ and being attracted to women. We would spend most of our married life fighting the religious dogma telling us we were going to hell for our "lifestyle" and that God could not love or bless a homosexual relationship.

I believed what most people believe and that was that God could not love gays and the relationship would not be accepted. I even spread that poison to friends early on in life.

I now know that God chose me, created me and loves me and has called myself and my wife into leading others to the truth of God's Unconditional Love for them. God's Word is correct and without flaw. Because we are carnal we do not understand God's Word. God is Love and He loves all of us regardless of our expression.

Jesus was absolutely most influential in helping me become comfortable in who he created me to be. My father would also help me and with the use of a STRONG'S CONCORDANCE and https://blueletterbible.org I would find so many answers that have given me permission and acceptance to be who God created me to be.

My life now is more full in Christ than I could have ever imagined. He grows me in His Spirit and His Truth and He is teaching me to be bold in who He created me to be. My Wife is also learning to embrace who God created her to be in Him. Our marriage is to Christ first and to one another second.
